• 2nd Grade Grading Scale for Language Arts and Math

                                                                                            

     
    All of our grading is based on the Common Core State Standards.  The students' work is assessed based on a scale from 1-4.
     
     
    4 = The students is working about grade level expectations.
     
    3 = The student has mastered the skill for the grade level.
     
    2 = The student is approaching the standard.  He/she has a grasp on the concept, but still needs teacher support to complete the skill efficiently. 
     
    1 = The student is having great difficulty understanding a skill even with teacher support.
