Welcome to Mrs. Serpiello & Mr. D's Classroom!A Little About MeMy name is Cheryl Serpiello, and I am one of the fifth grade teachers here at Harker School. I have been teaching in the Swedesboro-Woolwich School District since 2008 and have taught 5th, 3rd, & 2nd grades, grades 3-5 Gifted and Talented, and grades 1-5 ACES. I have an undergraduate degree from Bloomsburg University in Speech Pathology and Audiology. Before coming to this district, I was a Speech Therapist for children and adults with autism and multiple disabilities at Piscataway Regional Day School and Bancroft NeuroHealth. I received my Masters Degree in Education with a certification in Special Education from Holy Family University in 2007, and began my classroom teaching career in a 6th grade classroom in the School District of Philadelphia.Aside from teaching, I am married to my husband Rob. We have a 10 year old daughter, Mia, and a 6 year old son, Robbie. I am very excited to be a part of the fifth grade team! Communication is key! We have all entered and conquered uncharted waters over the last few years! I look forward to working with your child and for a wonderful school year!“The best way to predict your future is to create it.” – Abraham Lincoln
