• What is ClassDojo?

ClassDojo is a digital classroom management tool designed to help teachers improve student behavior and communicate more effectively with parents. Each student gets an avatar, which the child can personalize, and teachers create goals or behaviors to track, such as turning in homework, participating in class, or staying on task. Teachers can use a smartphone, tablet or computer to give points for positive behaviors and take points away for inappropriate behaviors. Throughout the day the entire class will receive points for demonstrating positive behaviors. The class will work towards a common reward that we will vote on together. Student's individual points will only be shared with each individual child, not the entire class. Once a child has received 100 points he/she  will get to add an avatar to our class Dojo bulletin board. Check out the Class Dojo website (www.classdojo.com) more information.
