    Dear Partners in Learning,

     

    In Social Studies this year, we will learn about many things.   We will not only study the state of New Jersey, but we will also take a hands-on approach to learning about geography and other states.  The way we will do this is by collecting postcards. Postcards are used to share information with others. Often times, they are used when people are away from home and they want to share information about what they have been doing.  

    Do you have family or friends who live in a different state? Country? Continent?  If so, they can send you a postcard! This year we want to learn about different places from around the world, by the people who live there.  Reach out to friends and family and ask them to send us a postcard. If you travel for vacation or business, please think of us and pick up a postcard.  

     

    Bring the postcard into school and we will keep track of and discuss where it came from.  Our goal is to collect one from each state and as many countries as we can. Postcards can either be sent to your house and brought in or sent to the school at the address provided below.
