Stratton School World Language Home Page
This page will offer information to parents about the World Language Program at the Governor Stratton School.
The purpose of the World Language program is to expose students to a new language and culture. This year, second grade students at the Stratton School will have instruction in the Spanish language once every six school days (on Day C in the rotation) for half of the year.
Students will work at the word level to learn basic vocabulary for the following topics: simple questions, colors, shapes, numbers 1-31, the calendar, the weather, feelings, body parts, food, clothing, and animals.
