The School Counseling Department at Walter Hill School provides individual and group counseling, crises intervention, and an overall guidance to all of our 6th graders so that they can become life-long learners.
The counseling topics can range anywhere from academic and socioemotional counseling, career counseling, and any other developmental topics suggested by our beloved students and families.
Other activities that can be expected are: peer mediations, lunch groups, classroom lessons, and consultations for any staff and parents at WHS.
Referral of students to the counseling office can be made in the following ways: by school personnel, other counselors, parents, student-to-student, and students' self-referral.
Please feel free to contact the school counselor, Ms. Hwang, for any questions or inquiries.
