Mrs. Molly Clerecuzio
Welcome to Mrs. Clerecuzio's Home Page
I am happy to introduce myself as your student's World Language teacher at Walter Hill School. This is an exciting year for me, as I will also be back at Charles Stratton School teaching Spanish to second students! (Stratton is where I began my teaching career.)
Sixth graders have World Language class on either Day A or Day B. This year, sixth graders will review and enhance vocabulary learned in fifth grade, as well as complete units about sports, the house, telling time, and coutries around the world.
Selected sixth graders have the opportunity to participate in World language Enrichment. The enrichment class will expand on work done in the regular World Language classroom by doing projects based on the units in their regular class.
Our district uses the model curriculum developed by the New Jersey Department of Education (www.state.nj.us/education/modelcurriculum/wl/). Students do not have a World Language textbook. Instead, they participate in interactive activities meant to reflect natural language acquisition. Throughout the year, I will give students vocabulary lists and other resources they can use both in class and at home. You can find this vocabulary and other resources here on my web page and in your student's Google Classroom.
The best way to reach me is by email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
